Walstrom's Catering
A family owned and operated company, was created in 2003 by Jody Lockwood and David Younger. The Walstrom's name was derived from "Grandpa Bill Walstrom" who owned and operated the family candy store in Lakewood, Colorado many years ago. Like Grandpa Bill, Walstrom's Catering selects and produces all of its products with a philosophy of "Quality First." David Younger, Walstrom's Executive Chef, has been an avid culinarian since he was 15 years old. He has tenured in prestigious establishments such as The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado, The Park Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina, and CR Gibbs in Redding, California, where he augmented and refined his skills as a Caterer. David attended Mesa State College where he received an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and then earned his certification at the Executive Chef level from the American Culinary Federation.
